Barbara Bitela (aka "Babz")
Books by Barbara Bitela

New York born Barbara Bitela has been a musician, public relations agent and successful writer. She has written scores of
press releases for composers who score film, television and documentaries; all of which appeared in all of the traditional
Hollywood papers (Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Section of the Los Angeles Times.)
She has an extensive background in music (Billboard Songwriter Award: Honorable Mention), and beauty/skin care and cosmetics;
and is a former rock singer (on the road for many years). She's even written about music program ideas for church worship
teams.
Barbara has written several well received books, available on Amazon; and just recently signed with Hollywood agent Ed Silver
to shop the film adaptation of her latest book "Full Moon Morning".
She won first place for short story fiction in 2006 for the CNW/FFWA Florida State Writing Competition and an Honorable Mention
in the Sacramento Public Library Writing 2002 for her touching story "War Dogs", a story based on a few days in the life of
a Viet Nam Vet.
